US DOJ forms new "Domestic Terrorism" unit to go after anyone with "anti-authority ideologies"

Not good. Not good at all.

Have you seen how broadly this is defined? They effectively include anyone with an ideology or demographic that fits those who participated in the January 6th DC protests (not just the rioters) as the template of people to pursue.

This is bad, very bad.

The most disturbing piece is the comment from the DOJ which includes
going after anyone with "anti-authority ideologies".

Note this is formed to go after the people that had ideologies (across
a very broad span) that participated in the January 6th DC protests,
_not_ just the rioters. But ignore all the people that caused all the
damage, assaults, and deaths in all the other cities in the previous
years that had city streets on fire, business looted, etc. They are
_not_ pursuing those ideologies with this unit.

This is not good. :-( Since negative words may be perceived as anti-authority and may no longer be allowed if continuing on this Orwellian course, anything the government does can just be good, or double plus good, but never anything critical of the authoritarians.
