Zaurus pics.
I don't have time to go into details, you can read about this WONDERFUL! Sharp Zaurus SL-c3100.
When I get some time, I'll come back to this posting and add descriptions to the photos.
Warning, the Zaurus SL-c3100 not for someone wanting just a PDA with "toys", this is a true handheld workhorse!
This blows away just about any handheld out there. I had to pay to have it imported to the USA, you can only get it in Japan. For some reason, clamshells (with decent keyboards), just aren't popular in the USA, just everywhere else in the world. We're really falling further and further behind in the world with technology (wireless, media, handhelds, embedded tech, biotech, etc.). :-(
Anyhow, it's running Linux, which, since I was always trying to get Linux to run on every handheld I've had (Jornada 680,690,720, NEC Mobilepro, Palm's, etc.) , it's nice to actually have what I prefer (and it's rock stable, much better than Palm OS or CE/PocketPC in recent years have been) or you can put other OSes such as BSD variants and other Linux distros on it.

It's basically able to do what a laptop can do, but miniaturized (click on thumbnails for larger view)...

Booting up stage 6, Time/zone/date prompt
(note that "booting up" is not normally needed, it does the usual instant on/off of any pda.

Crummy shot, but Zaurus next to Palm Vx.
Zaurus on top of laptop, next to Cellphone (Motorolla V...) and Jornada 720 Handheld PC.
Zaurus on laptop next to cellphone and jornada 720 (again)
Zaurus sl-c3100 in my hand, turned off. Keep in mind I'm 6'8" so hands are a bit larger than average in comparison. ;-)
Zaurus open on desk, turned off
Thickness comparison: Zaurus next to Palm Vx (on left), and Laptop (on right). You see the Zaurus is a little less than twice as thick as the Vx.
Orinoco Gold Wifi card on top of Zaurus
