Back from 1 week long, nearly 1,800 mile long motorcycle trip in the Northwest USA
Phew! I'm back. It was a good trip overall, but VERY long. Maybe I won't be up to an Alaska trip next year after all. :-(
All three boys were scheduled to stay at Camp Reed for the entire week, so I decided to take advantage of that "kid free" time to take a motorcycle road trip.
I was able to get the kids to camp EXACTLY on time (Sunday, 3:00 pm sharp). Unfortunately, as I was half-way back to Spokane, I received a phone call from my middle son saying he'd forgotten his (asthma) inhaler. Doh!
So I had to drive home, find his inhaler, and bring it back. This cost more over an hour round trip time.
I had spent so much time making sure the kids were ready, my stuff was still in disarray, so I didn't actually hit the road to Seattle until after dark. The trip to Seattle on I-90 was mostly uneventful except for a few things.
1. I seem to have suddenly acquired some sort of night blindness. It could be from my visor...
