The short version is: My sport bag, with many possessions, slipped onto the exhaust of my motorcycle, while I was on the freeway, and caught fire. A portion of the motorcycle is ruined/melted/burned, and just about everything in the bag was scattered over a 1.3 mile area. To read the long version, click the "Read More" link at the end of this article for all the gory details of my stupid actions exacerbated by more stupid actions. At least I wasn't hurt, and no one else was hurt. At least, that's what I keep trying to tell my self. ;-)
        <dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
        <dc:rights></dc:rights>
        <dc:type>Blog Entry</dc:type>

So, reading that of course triggered a whole slew of thoughts from me, and I thought I'd post them here.
        <dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
        <dc:rights></dc:rights>
        <dc:type>Blog Entry</dc:type>

I was very nervous, and it was very stressful leading up to the event.
I had unfortunately missed a number of voice lessons over the quarter, and was ill prepared on one song in particular, but of course all areas were impacted by missing such sessions.
The accompanist I was going to use ended up not being available, and I didn't realize that until only two weeks before this performance.
So, I was scrambling.
        <dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
        <dc:rights></dc:rights>
        <dc:type>Blog Entry</dc:type>
